Crowd overflows as citizens in Anambra state registers for voters card
Anambra citizens living within nkpor and ogidi trooped in to ogidi local government headquarters to partake in the continuous voters registration (CVR) for the upcoming governorship election.
The state government has set aside 2 day public holiday for citizens and civil servants to equip themselves with the power to vote in the upcoming elections latter this year.
The equipment and resources set aside for the (CVR) is just enough to handle the overflow crowd.
In an interview with one of the citizens that came to register, expressed his uttermost disappointment with the ongoing process. He complained that the registration was slow and that the resources mapped out for the process is just enough to handle the overflow crowd. He also complained that of more than 600 people that came for the process yesterday only 20 people registered.
